The Students’ Association offers a variety of spaces for special events and meetings. The Wyckham House Student Centre provides a clean, accessible venue with experienced staff and affordable pricing.

The Hub is a student-owned campus hotspot with big screen TVs, a great selection of delicious beverages along with a hot and cold food menu, and a variety of seating options. Selling capacity is up to 220 people.
Our second floor Council Chambers is a light-filled meeting or reception room suitable for up to 50 people with a variety of attractive seating arrangements. SAMRU offers a wide range of catering options to suit your event and budget. We retain the right to exclusively cater events in Wyckham House.
Meeting and Break-Out Rooms
The Students’ Association has a variety of meeting rooms suitable for 2-8 people in boardroom configurations in our fully-accessible lower level.
The Students’ Association Gallery is an excellent location for your small reception or sales meeting. Located on the second floor this room will hold up to 30 individuals in U-shape configurations. This room has adjustable lighting and is adjacent to our Second Floor Lounges for larger events.
Second Floor Lounges
There are two lounges on our second floor which are ideal for informal receptions and gatherings. Use them together, separately, or in coordination with our Gallery. One lounge features two television screens and large windows for abundant natural light.
Wyckham House Event Centre
Combine the benefits and space of Wyckham Hall, our Banquet Hall, The Hub, our second floor lounges and our Gallery for over 13,000 square feet of event space. Our Wyckham House Student Centre offers 900 total sellable capacity between main floor and balcony and 220 person capacity beer garden with stage sightlines.
