Payment

All venue rentals require valid credit card information to be received at the time of booking and to be kept on file as assurance of payment. A Visa, Mastercard, business cheque, money order, or cash deposit of 50% will be required before the rental can be confirmed. Failure to provide the rental hold deposit and the refundable damage deposit within twenty-one (21) days of the receipt of a signed venue rental agreement may result in cancellation of the venue rental.

The balance amount owing is payable prior to the commencement of the rental on the reserved day by Visa, MasterCard, money order, or cash. The Renter must notify the Association of cancellation twenty-one (21) days in advance of the rental in order to receive a refund of the deposit amount less any fees or charges incurred by SAMRU to reverse the credit card charge or equipment rentals.

Failure to comply with the payment schedule may result in cancellation of the venue rental and the Renter will forfeit all payments made except the refundable damage deposit.

CANCELLATION

The Renter must notify the SAMRU of cancellation twenty-one (21) days in advance of the booking in order to receive a refund of the deposit amount. Cancellations made by the Renter less than twenty-one (21) days in advance of the booking will result in the necessary payment of the full rental agreement amount.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT

A refundable 50% Damage Deposit will be levied to the Renter for all events with a fee total that exceeds $500.00.
