I have been alive for 22 years, have one younger sister who is my inspiration, two incredible parents who taught me the secrets to life (I take them to the grave), a 14 year old dog Ben. I have travelled to eight countries, been at Mount Royal for three years, studied Public Relations for 2 years, worked as an RA and then a CA for two years, taught English to 200 refugee students, won a shoe box of gold medals, jumped out of a plane at 14,000 ft, lived out of a van for 21 days with 4 strangers, worked as a solicitor for 3 months, owned one car named Bob, took 4 different types of dance, play on one boat, saw David Suzuki speak once, slept in one teepee, own 5 spare keys to my car, learnt how to snowboard over the period of 5 years, participated in the sport of cheerleading for five years, spent 5 days 4x4ing on the largest sand island in the world, took kickboxing for two years, snorkeled 6 different reefs, bungee jumped from 165 ft, attended one full moon party and surfed in Australia once. I have been active in the Mount Royal community for years; whether it was volunteering or being part of a sports team, I knew I needed to be involved. I do a lot in my extra-curricular life that is demonstrated through everything I do, so I thought I would share a side which some people don’t get to see. But at the end of the day, I am a student first. This is only supposed to be 200 words, but my life is just far too exciting.
