The Season of Caring brings the whole MRU campus community together at the end of the fall semester to warm up winter for students and our Calgary community.
Feeling stressed? We can help!
We know that the end of the semester can be financially stressful for students. You might not be able to pick up as many shifts at work if exams and final projects are keep you busy, or you might find that your student loan money is running short, even with a lot of time left in the year. If worries or concerns about money are hindering your academic success, you can apply for the Season of Caring; we want to warm up your winter!
Just head up to the Peer Support Centre on the second floor of Wyckham House and talk in confidence with one of our trained volunteers. All MRU credit students are eligible for the program, and you do not need any documentation indicating financial need.
Want to support a stressed-out student?
If you would like to join the Season of Caring as a contributor, and help warm up a student’s winter, we would love to talk to you! Come visit us at the Season of Caring booth at West Gate from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. weekdays from November 4th – December 6th. After December 6th, feel free to contact our SOS team for more ways you can join the campus community in supporting student success.
