There are a number of international and national days and weeks of awareness in March, and some of SAMRU’s service centers will be recognizing them in different ways.
 
Sunday, March 8, 2015 is International Women’s Day – Visit SAMRU’s Pride Centre if you want to learn more about gender issues >>http://www.samru.ca/supportservices/diversity/ The Pride Centre is on the second floor of Wyckham House, and drop-in visits are welcome during centre hours. 
 
The third week of March is Canada Water Week, held annually to coincide with World Water Day on March 22nd – visit SAMRU’s Centre for Student Initiative if you have ideas on how to make MRU a more water-sensitive campus >>http://www.samru.ca/supportservices/csi/ you can find the centre on the second floor of Wyckham House.
 
Saturday, March 21, 2015 is the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination – The Cultural Mosaic Centre on the third floor of Wyckham House is a great resource if you want to discuss issues of racial discrimination and how to overcome them on this day or any other >>http://www.samru.ca/supportservices/mosaic/
