Student Clubs

Students with similar academic, social or representational interests can become part of a Club. These groups hold regular meetings throughout the year and accomplish many things, including hosting social events and activities, fundraisers, graduation celebrations and participating in Students’ Association (SA) initiatives.

CLUB RATIFICATION will be done throughout the year. Pick up a ratification or re-ratification package at reception or in room Z304.

How do I join or start a club?

New clubs are formed every year to represent the changing interests of students. Run for a position on the executive of a student club, or be an active member and volunteer for events and fundraisers. For information on how to create a new student club, contact the Clubs Coordinator.

Important Club Dates:

Club Ratification - First deadline is September 23, but can occur anytime throughout the year.
Clubs Training (Mandatory) - Fall Dates TBA
Club Main Street Days - Fall Dates TBA

Annual Reports - Due April 20, 2010
Locker Clean-out - Must be cleared or checked by the Clubs Coordinator prior to April 30, 2010. Remaining items will be thrown out.

Clubs are a great way of meeting new people, networking with others with similar academic interests, socializing with students with similar recreational interests, as well as learning new things!

Clubs Days are great opportunities for you to find out about existing clubs, join a club, or even learn more about starting your own club!

Clubs Days take place at the beginning of each semester on Main Street.
