The Students’ Association is a student-run organization that values community and participatory decision making. Through volunteerism on its boards and committees, as well as through its service centres, SAMRU offers first-hand experience in citizenship and provides students with opportunities to develop leadership skills and social responsibility.
Volunteering is a challenging and rewarding experience which helps develop the diverse skill set needed in today’s job market. It’s also a great opportunity to meet new people and have some fun! SAMRU offers many different opportunities for students to get involved.
