A lot of students think that the Season of Caring exists only to help students who are in financial crisis during the upcoming holiday season, however the Season of Caring is for all MRU students, regardless of your financial situation – we just want to help you have a happier holiday!
If you loved secret Santa, you’ll love our wish tree! Write down your holiday wish, and we’ll put it on our wish tree. Then someone can pick a wish from the tree and try to make your holiday wish come true! You can apply for the wish tree; fulfill a wish, or both! Wishes cover a wide range of price points, so everyone can get involved!
If you want to make your holiday dinner a bit more special, you can also apply for the holiday food hamper. You’ll get tasty treats delivered right here to campus that you can take home to round out your holiday meal. One person’s ‘strange canned red stuff’ is someone else’s delicious cranberry jelly, so you can also donate to our holiday food drive – all of the extra food will be donated to the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank, so you’re helping a great cause!
