Are you looking for tips and tricks when communicating a concern or question? The self-advocacy lunch & learn sessions are a pilot project to enhance existing skills or learn new ones. Sessions will mainly be facilitated by Andrea Davis, the SAMRU Student Advocacy Coordinator and/or Janet Miller, a Registered Psychologist from MRU Student Counselling.

What you take away from these lunch & learn sessions is up to you. Be prepared to actively listen and/or participate, and make sure to bring your lunch with you. Our hope is that you will use these lunch & learn sessions to broaden your self-advocacy knowledge while increasing your self-confidence for engaging in self-advocacy.
