In 2016, Student Services launched the Clubs Wisdom Council Initiative to get meaningful high-level feedback from clubs on how we can improve the SAMRU clubs experience. We use this feedback to continually improve our services and remain responsive to our membership.
The Clubs Wisdom Council meets during the Fall and Winter Semesters, and each SAMRU club can send up to two executive members to each meeting. Meetings are chaired by the VP Student Affairs and vice-chaired by the Clubs Coordinator.
We will be hosting a professional development workshop called on September 25th after Clubs Wisdom Council. The workshop will be run by the Communications Team.
This workshop will give participants the opportunity to consider some ways that they can enhance their understanding of different marketing approaches. Participants will come out of this workshop with:
- An understanding of social media,
- Strategies to promote events,
- Ways to respond to negative feedback online.
