With a crispness to the air, gardeners across Calgary are likely all on the same page – thoughts of harvest time and preparing their gardens for the fall and winter are looming. At the MRU campus Community Garden, volunteers and organizers are thinking of harvest too – and getting ready to experience the delicious sense of camaraderie that comes with another exciting growing season – and you’re invited!

On September 24th, the Community Garden organizers and volunteers will be celebrating at their annual Harvest Party, and all members of the MRU community, including staff, faculty, and students are invited to attend.

This year, along with celebrating another successful growing season, gardeners will focus on the accessibility redesign, and what it means for future gardeners at SAMRU and MRU. There will be lawn games and gardening activities starting at 4:30 p.m. along with announcements, followed by live music from The Wine-Soaked Preachers.
