This Valentine’s Day couples and singles alike can enjoy an evening of slow dancing at the already famous ‘Slow Dance Party’.

Just like the high school dances you remember, you can attend with your date, solo, or in a group of friends. The night is divided into three sets of classic slow songs selected for excellent slow-dancing. Grab a dance card and book your partners in advance, or take a twirl with a Designated Dancer – a volunteer to make sure everyone who wants to be on the dance floor is!

If you’re feeling shy, a Valentine’s Cupid is there to help in the form of Secret Mailboxes; drop a note to the slow-dancer who catches your eye!

Proceeds from this event will be donated to Possibilities, a group that aims to create a strong, safe, vibrant bisexual & pansexual community in Calgary. This event is open to everyone regardless of sexual or gender identity, and MRU students can get tickets at the door with their student I.D.
