When the halls of MRU start filling up with pajama pants and thermoses filled with coffee and soup, we know that exams and projects are taking their toll on MRU students! Your SAMRU Students’ Council wants to embrace the need for comfort and warmth this February with the return of PJ & soup day.
Just like a warm hug, Students’ Council governors will be handing out free soup (it’s like a hug in a mug….). Not just that, but each and every one of them will put aside the blazer or tie you’re used to seeing them in, for comfy-cozy pajamas, and MRU students are encouraged, just for today (and maybe during the exam period too; we won’t judge) to wear your comfy PJs too. Come and relax, unwind over your lunch break, and get a free steaming hot mug full of soup along with a mental health break to get you past through the seemingly never-ending winter of studying.
Interested in what Students’ Council does (when they’re not handing out free food)? Be sure to chat with one of these dedicated students and learn more about everything they work on during the year on your behalf!
If you have dietary concerns about the soup (if you have allergies or preferences) just chat with members of your elected & appointed Students’ Council at the event.
Everyone is invited!
