HB_MSMSexualHealthWhat Is It?

If you’re a young man who has sex with men (MSM), and you’d like to start talking about sexual health, please join us for our MSM Sexual Health Leadership Program. This program will take place over three casual group sessions and give you a chance to sit down with a like-minded group of young men, to think and talk about your sexual health knowledge, and to learn some ways you can have those same conversations with other people. We’ll also provide you with current, fact-based information about sexual health from a sex-positive approach.

Why It’s Important

Even at university, it’s no secret that there can be a pretty big stigma around talking about or revealing your sexual orientation – and that makes talking about sexual health even harder. But we believe that you, and students just like you, can be change leaders: tough conversations about sex can happen anywhere, and if you’ve got the skills, you can share sexual health knowledge with your peers.

Whether you’re chatting with a friend, a classmate, or a roommate, these three sessions will give you the tools to support your peers and promote healthy sexuality in your own community.

Sessions run on January 26, February 2, and February 9, from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. in the Pride Centre (room Z204, on the second floor of Wyckham House).
