Students with similar academic, social or representational interests can become part of a Club. These groups hold regular meetings throughout the year and accomplish many things, including hosting social events and activities, fundraisers, graduation celebrations and participating in Students’ Association initiatives.
If you want to start a club of your own, the Clubs Coordinator can help you with that as well. There is even start-up money for new clubs to get off the ground!
To join an existing club, just visit the Clubs Web page http://www.samru.ca/studentopportunities/studentclubs/ and contact the club, or talk to the Clubs Coordinator about a club you might be interested in. You should also consider attending Clubs Days on September 24 & 25, 2013 to see many of the clubs offered through SAMRU, talk to their members, and see what clubs are up to.
