Why do you donate?

Shayla B.

“This is my third year of donating to the Season of Caring. The reason why I donate is because it’s a great way for me to be able to give back to the community that’s supported me through so many things in my life. Just to be able to reciprocate that in a very personalized way is very special.”

Amber S.

“I remember how tough this time of year as a student was and I love to show my own children about giving back to the community. We pick a couple of mittens every year and we all pick out gifts. It’s something we look forward to every year.”

Dani S.

“As a Mount Royal University employee, working in the office of Campus Equity and Meaningful Inclusion, I think it’s really important that I set a good example in the community by giving back. I’ve experienced a lot of privilege in my life and I want share some of that experience with others.”

Emily I.

“During the holidays, not everybody has the money to be able to have the holiday they want. It’s a little way that me and my family can help other families that might be struggling so they can have a better holiday.”
