Are you interested in presenting or facilitating at the third-annual CREATE a Better Now conference in January?

We’re looking for students, staff, faculty, and community members to share your knowledge and experience on the topics of global citizenship, leadership development, and sustainable communities. You can lead a workshop, facilitate a round-table discussion, plan or participate on a panel discussion, host a world café, organize an open-space conversation, plan a pecha kucha, give a presentation, share your class project with a larger audience… or nearly anything else your creative mind can imagine! We welcome opportunities to incorporate art, music and your creative ideas!

“Anyone is welcome to submit a proposal” explained Alana-Dawn Eirikson, CSI Coordinator, who will support the student organizers of this conference. She added that committee members will welcome submissions from students, student groups, and members of the campus community. “Collaborations among different campus groups is also encouraged” she added, noting some of the vibrant and active SAMRU student-led clubs and MRU departments.

Examples of past sessions include: drum circle, film screening and discussion of “Bottled Life”, panel on Social Innovation &Entrepreneurship Enlivening Sustainability.
