Welcome back (or welcome for the first time) to MRU! Your Students’ Association of Mount Royal University (SAMRU) is excited to be hosting an epic back-to-school bash to welcome you to the new winter 2015 semester! So get your plaid shirts, overalls, and acid wash on and get ready to rock your body, yeah! You know it’s what you want, what you really, really want!

January 29th we’ll transform Wyckham House from your favourite place to spend time between classes into the denim-filled, spiral-permed, “My So Called Life”-inspired house party you only WISH you had when you were growing up in the 90s.

Featuring WANNABE, a Spice Girls tribute band, and an awesome deejay, we’ll play great dance music all night: from when doors open at 8:00 p.m. until the wee hours when you’re all ready to head home, platform shoes in hand.

Too young to have seen Tyra before she “smized”? This party is 18+ only, and we encourage all of our guests to make responsible choices for the evening, including how to get home.

Tickets go on sale January 9th and you can get the best price by getting yours on campus from Copywrite & Used Books in the lower level of Wyckham House for $13.00/each. Have a friend who wants to come, but who doesn’t go to MRU? No problem! Tickets are $13_ plus service charges through https://eventbrite.ca/event/15192091956/. Limited tickets will be available at the door for $15.00/each, first-come, first-served.
