The Peer Support Centre is a referral agency and depot of the Calgary Food Bank, and hampers are available to all eligible individuals. If you would like to request a food hamper, the process is first to drop by the Peer Support Centre (Wyckham House, Z210) during our core hours to fill out an application form with one of our volunteers.

How does a student access the Calgary Food Bank hamper?
The process is first to drop by the Peer Support Centre (Wyckham House, Z210) during our core hours to fill out an application form with one of our volunteers.
- When filling out the application form, you will need the following information:
- Current Address
- Full name, date of birth, government ID for each individual applying in your family
Hampers can be picked up at SAMRU every Wednesday morning. You can also pick-up from your community’s designated depot or at the Main Warehouse (5000 11 Street SE, Calgary AB). Pick-ups can be scheduled at the Main Warehouse:
- Tuesday to Friday, 10:30 am to 1:00 pm
- Monday to Friday, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
- Monday to Thursday, 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
When picking up a hamper, students must provide two pieces of ID for each adult and one piece of ID for each child. More information can be found on the Calgary Food Bank website.
How many times can a student apply for a Calgary Food Bank hamper?
Students are eligible for up to 7 hampers in a 12-month period with a minimum of 30 days between each request.
Does the Calgary Food Bank cater to clients with dietary restrictions?
The Calgary Food Bank cannot accommodate food item substitutions due to the volume of hampers prepared.

Spring/Summer: 9:30am – 3:30pm Monday – Friday
*Free Breakfast: 8:45am until supplies run out
